WHERE WE ARE
PROJECTS & EVENTS.
We intend to bring the same passion, sense of responsibility, and concern we share for the land and wildlife to help our communities learn skills for generations to come. We will reach out to our fellow hunters and sportsmen to form partnerships toward an amazing opportunity to be a part of something very special.
We will partner with organizations to help in times of need, whether to recover from disasters or to perform upgrades and expansions to modernize their facilities.
Louisiana 4-H Camp Grant Walker, Pollock LA
The best gift we can give our kids is to empower them with skills that will last for a lifetime. 4-H was founded on the belief that when kids are empowered to pursue their passions and chart their own courses, their skills grow and take shape, helping them to become true leaders in their lives, careers, and communities. At 4-H camp, kids learn critical life skills like resilience and independence, growing in ability to bounce back from adversity, stress, challenges, and failures.

Camp Grant Walker is the only 4-H camp in Louisiana, hosting camps and events for over 6,000 young people across the state. Hunters for Humanity recognized the importance of Camp Grant Walker and its role in teaching outdoor education. In 2020, Hurricanes Laura and Delta devastated multiple areas of the camp and shuttered camp activities for nearly a year.
We are in the process of helping to rebuild the main facility buildings as well as building a new state-of-the-art shooting facility with upgraded equipment. Our partner Dynamic Group is contributing $250,000 of in-kind donation turnkey construction work, and our partner The Confluence Group is leveraging their outdoor resources to supply top-of-the-line products for the brand new shooting facilities. Together, we aim to not only rebuild but also modernize Camp Grant Walker for future generations.

Target Donation $10,000
Dream Hunt Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help kids with disabilities, terminal illnesses, or those considered disadvantaged, have the chance to fulfill their dream of participating in a guided hunting or fishing trip. Dream Hunt was founded under the belief that children and teens whose lives have been otherwise focused on their disability, illness, or limited resources, could also have the opportunity to love the outdoors. Dream Hunt Foundation works closely with multiple hospitals and organizations throughout the south. Special arrangements are made to accommodate the needs of each individual hunter to ensure the trip is enjoyable, safe, and memorable.

On August 28, 2021, Hunters for Humanity and the Honey Brake Gun Club are hosting a fundraising event for the Dream Hunt Foundation. We look forward to supporting this great cause, raising awareness, and providing the trip of a lifetime for a special child.
